I would classify myself mainly as a portrait artist. There is just something about the human face that draws me, something I cannot fully explain. Conceptually, my themes most commonly deal with identity (how we portray who we are, what makes us unique, can that ‘uniqueness’ be captured in a an artwork and so forth) and around the question of whether or not we can successfully read people through the physical manifestations of their emotions.
